Unlike wrist weights, which can spin and irritate skin during a workout, Powergloves stay secure, leaving fingers and palms free for just about any activity, such as walking, jogging, aerobics, tennis, kickboxing... and especially, Powerhooping!

Some wrist weights are designed with a thumb-hole, which can cause stress to your thumb as well as irritation between the thumb and forefinger. Powergloves are designed to hold the weight securely in place with two fingers and thumb, and a Velcro fastening at the wrist to avoid joint discomfort and skin irritation. An exposed palm allows for evaporation of moisture.

Since Powergloves are so comfortable, they can also be worn while doing everyday activities in the house or office to strengthen arm muscles even when not working out.

Powergloves are available in three weights: 0.25kg, 0.5kg and 1kg.  Average women will probably be most comfortable with the 0.5kg Powergloves, and men with the 1kg Powergloves. Users should check with their physician or physiotherapist if they have had any history of arm or shoulder pain or injuries. Powergloves can be hand-washed in cold water and air-dried.

Note: Powergloves contain particles of iron, which can rust if they become soaked. To clean, wipe them off with a damp, slightly soapy cloth. If needed, spray lightly with an antibacterial disinfectant. After cleaning, press out excess moisture between two towels and allow to dry in a well-ventilated area.
